On October 16th and 17th, a new edition of the Tecnofrío Congress was held at the Industrial Engineers College in Madrid, of which Frost-trol has once again been a sponsor. Industry professionals of all kinds come together for the sharing of their perspectives on the current situation and how to face the following challenges of the future of the sector. The F-Gas regulations and their implementation together with the most sustainable options in refrigerants, were the most dealt with throughout the congress. Clearly, the search for solutions to meet what Europe is calling for and the resources to prevent global warming is one of the main objectives of all those who make up the cold sector. Roberto Solsona, CEO of Frost-trol and President of AEFYT, participated in the inaugural event of the Congress, mentioning the challenges we have in Europe and calling on administrations to facilitate the change to the cold sector. José Pedro García, EMEAA Commercial Director of Frost-trol, was part of the first round table of the congress, in it, asked to raise awareness of the importance of the energy efficiency of the equipment and its effects in the medium and long term. The last intervention by the company was by José Díaz, Frost-trol Engineer, who presented attendees with the preliminary results of the experimental work carried out at the firm on the preservation of products in a chamber through photovoltaic solar cooling. Tecnofrío is established as the reference meeting for the sector, a unique opportunity to discover the latest technological advances to present the innovations that have been worked on throughout the year.
